Still no borders that we can find. We wish all our friends on this pale blue dot a Happy New Year of peace and understanding. May all your best dreams come true.
Oh, what a lovely New Year's wish, thank you, dear Susan! Wishing you continuing creative joys and all good things, with love and thanks for our friendship.
Though I don't pretend to understand it well, I love the aboriginal Australian concept of the 'dreaming' May your dreaming be blessed. And may love and respect for our small blue dot overshadow the greed that endangers it.
May those that love us, love us. And those that don't love us, May God turn their hearts. And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles So we will know them by their limping.
That was a great video, never saw it before. Although, I may never see a lasting peace on this earth, I hope our kids will and their children. It's scary to think of how many times we human beings have come close to total destruction of that pale blue dot in the universe.
It's definitely one of those little movies everyone should see. That was a photograph taken by the Voyager at the edge of our solar system. We can only hope that wisdom will eventually appear among us.
wishing i could watch your video... and i'm rather perturbed because you are not coming through on my reader so i had no idea you had post...twice. i just came by tonight to check things out and felt like a pale ghost of a friend. anyway happy happy my dear and this painting is very special. i love the sense of perspective you give it with crow up on top. i sure wish i had that coat! xoxox
Hello my friend, Sorry you can't watch the video but it's here on youtube if you ever feel like checking it out. You're no pale ghost of a friend since I know you'll always get here sometime. I'm glad you like the picture and, yes, I love his coat too.

ReplyDeleteI wish you the same, dear Marja-Leena.

ReplyDeleteThat's a concept well worth the dreaming.
DeleteHappy New Year Susan. The worst borders are in the brains of the bigots, fear mongers and the narrow minded
ReplyDeleteHah! a fitting yet familiar quote in reply:
DeleteMay those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping.
Pale Blue Dot: how insignificant we are.
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
and probably in quarantine too.
DeleteHope your new year is all you wish for :)
ReplyDeleteYou too, Lib, and many more.
DeleteOh, you hippies and your Aquarian Ages.
ReplyDeleteJust still hopeful even as I re-read Slaughterhouse 5.
